“I’ve traveled to various European destinations in Mexico and South America, but I’ve never encountered a five-star hotel with such a poorly maintained system. The patio was littered with discarded boards, and the shower leaked. The housekeeping left dirty towels in the rooms, and there were even dead roaches on the floor. My children had bites on their arms and legs when they woke up in the morning, which I suspect were bed bugs. I called the hotel and notified the front desk as soon as I left……

“My fiancé and I stayed 3 nights here in March and while I wouldn't call it a 5-star hotel, we had an excellent experience. Something to consider when staying here is that it is located about 40 minutes away from the main city area (Christiansted) and the roads leading up the hotel get narrow and the cell service gets shotty. The drive is so far out that some Uber drivers decline your ride because they do not want to drive out that far. I would def let them drive instead of renting if you are……

“The room was comfortable and had more amenities than other places I have stayed in St.Croix. The owners were friendly and helpful. The views were beautiful and the breeze enjoyable in the evening. You do need an all wheel drive vehicle and should definitely arrive while it is still light out. The WiFi was dependable.”

“The apartment truly does sit in the heart of Christiansted - a perfect location for popping out to a local dinner, browsing local shops, heading out for an excursion, or ducking downstairs to the juice bar. The space was well maintained very clean, and provided everything we need. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this apartment for a trip to Christiansted.”

“I’ve been going to St Croix for 12 years and need to advise that if you’re looking for a 5 star luxury hotel / resort; you’re on the wrong island; goto St Thomas. Hotels here are mainly historic / small, which keeps with the island. With that said I loved staying at this hotel. It’s 300 years old; very clean, in the heart of everything, just feet from the restaurants / shops / water. The manager is on site. Being historic, if you stay in the top floors you must walk the stairs. I stayed in……

“El desayuno estuvo muy bueno, sin embargo, deben mejorar considerablemente el área de frutas y postres, ya que resultaba muy desagradable la cantidad de moscas presentes. “Full of bugs Beds were not usable. Had metal poking up on both beds, screaming kids until 1 o’clock in the morning, banging on the walls and screaming rundown building when we asked for another unit, the other unit was exactly the same had bugs in it run down worthless bed the owner that told us that if we wanted a refund we had to turn over the keys and leave right now that was at 1:30 in the morning we had to sleep with our car on the streets of St. Croix. This owner never responded to Orbitz……
