“We stayed in the Superior Villa/Villa Agalla and the view was beautiful. The property felt secluded and we enjoyed our stay. This villa does need some maintenance, but overall a wonderful week. For example, the shower floor tiles are loose and will stick to to the bottom of your feet. We couldn't use the grill because it is charcoal but the bottom is burned out of it. There is no air conditioned common space, it is all open air. However, the bedrooms are air conditioned for a good nights……

“The staff was so sweet and accommodating. The property was pristine along with the pool. Food was amazing every meal. Wildlife is very active (monkeys, birds, geckos, iguanas, scarlet macaws, butterfly’s, frogs etc). I always felt safe on the property and would recommend the largest suit to anyone who wants more privacy and quiet since the other rooms you can hear everything within the hotel. There are 3 beautiful beaches between 5-12min driving distance from the hotel. The staff recommends……

“Juan and Ana made us feel so welcome to their tropical oasis in the jungle. Now if you are looking for a place with A/C and giant TVs this is not for you. If you want to sleep immersed in the sounds of jungle, with a steam running along the property, this is the place! We have traveled the whole of Costa Rica now; this is our favorite place so far! “We enjoyed an excellent stay at Hotel Evasion. Located in a beautiful rainforest setting, our room was clean, modern and comfortable and overlooked a lovely swimming pool which we used daily during our stay. “My wife and I stayed at the Kunken Lodge along our travels around the beautiful country of Costa Rica.
