room was very clean, but overall building was not in good condition and quite dirty and the gym was non functioning.

Incredible staff and service. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Gym is very small and technically outside so if you want to workout find another option.

It’s always amazing there!

Sadly, this hotel is no longer the beautiful boutique hotel we first fell in love with 15 years ago. We first visited about 15 years ago and were immediately impressed by its charm and character. Since then, we have returned several more times, and until this stay, we had always had a good experience and continued to think of it as a special place. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. It felt like the hotel had gone significantly downhill. The smell in the foyer was extremely unpleasant, the pool area was dirty, and there were no pool towels available. Even the complimentary drinking water had a strong mold-like smell, which was very concerning. I don’t know if there has been a change in ownership or management, but it certainly feels that way. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and overall care that we experienced during our previous stays seem to have disappeared. It is truly sad and disappointing to see a place we once loved change so much. We have wonderful memories of this hotel, but unfortunately, after this stay, we will not be returning.
