Great location, right on the water and walking distance to restaurants or take a short drive to the local tiki bar which has great food and music. Staff was great, let us check in early and the pool was large, as well as clean.

My stay at River Edge Inn was surprisingly pleasant, considering the low cost of the reservation. The exterior is attractive and clean, nothing fancy. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and check-in was quick and hassle free. My two double room was clean and roomy. The room included a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was a little small but functional and clean. The mattresses aren't anything to write home about, but were comfortable enough. I really liked the picnic table outside the room. I could imagine sitting out and listening to the Potomac river, which is yards away. The continental breakfast was average but good enough. This was an arrive late leave early stay, but I will return here for a more relaxing trip with family.

The room was clean and presented as advertised. Parking was really good and the pool was clean and well maintained. Continental breakfast was basic, no eggs or meat just fruit, cereals, coffee, juices, milk, waffles and bread products. Bathrooms had no grab bars or high rise toilets but facilities presented were in good working order. Large selection of TV channels. WiFi could use some upgrade but worked. All together, I would return again for another stay.

The best part about this hotel is the location, it is right on the beach and it is the perfect place to be if you want to be able to see the sunrise on the Potomac. The rooms were OK. It was definitely outdated and I would say the rooms were mostly clean. I would say it was a classic old school inn experience. if you’re looking for a place to stay for one or two nights max on the beach and you’re OK with a very basic room and amenities option. This is a good option for you.
