Illa Experience Hotel is an absolutely beautiful property with both historic and modern elements. Our room (a second floor suite with views of the charming street) was incredibly spacious and well appointed. Indeed, the entire hotel was renovated with thoughtful details. The service was off the charts... seriously - the kindest, most helpful staff ever. They went out of their way to make our stay a pampered one - from accommodating a late check out to sourcing needed medicine in Quito. And the view from the second floor bar of the hills and the Angel of Quito was breathtaking. What a treat!

This hotel is EXTREMELY CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL TO THE DETAILS! Showers is so amazing but the products shampoo a conditioner cream soap are spa level, food is gourmet but the service is upscale, coffe at the room is Omg and the bed the pillows the little details like delicious water a plate with amazing local fruits desert and orange juice as welcome ! A básquet of local snacks … and the fountain at night sound as rain ! What can I say just Amazing

Pros: The property was really unique, it was beautifully decorated. The room was amazing with an incredible view of El Panecillo, the staff were very kind, and the breakfast was really good.
Cons: We were the only ones staying at the hotel for four nights, it was a little odd. Staff didn't have any local restaurant recs other than the very touristy options (handed us a promo flyer when we asked). The staff were not bilingual as it says in the hotel info, and this caused a lot of confusion particularly with our bill at the end. Lastly, this area is unsafe in the evening, can't walk around at night.

The staff is very friendly and hopefully. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! Great variety and very tasty food. They even have a detox fruit juice bar. It is located close to the airport and has free shuttles. Highly recommend.
