Took an interesting tour of this site which has now been revitalized into an arts and cultural area. Bethlehem Steel was such a major part of the late 19th and early 20th century. When the mills closed down the economic impact to the region was severe and in some ways they are still trying to recover. The sheer mass of these stacks is rather imposing. The work was hard and so important in laying the foundation of much of our infrastructure both in building and transportation. Definitely worth a visit.
