The Riverside Chalet Plus offers a casually elegant experience on the banks of the Youghiogheny River. Accommodations for up to 10 include three bedrooms, 3 full baths, two additional single beds plus a queen sleeper sofa. It has a full kitchen, common room with a two story natural fieldstone fireplace and a very large outdoor deck overlooking the river and a large lawn and gardens. Great Mountain Get Away!

Wonderful property! Beautiful setting on the river and close to Ohiopyle activities. The owner was very friendly. Definitely want to come back.

Great place for a girls getaway

We stayed 2 nights, we had a great time. Perfect living room for sitting around and talking. We loved the fireplace and views! The beds were so comfortable and we all slept well.

Immaculately clean chalet

We had a perfect little getaway at the Riverside Chalet. Everything in the cottage was clean and new. It was a perfect location to stay when planning a visit to Fallingwater. There was a nice yard for the kids to play in and biking and hiking in nearby Ohiopyle State Park was a lot of fun.

Picture Perfect

After visiting Falling Waters we arrived at Riverside Chalet to continue our girlfriends trip. We were immediately drawn to the charm of the chalet and it’s surroundings. From the sounds of the running river to the train whistle we enjoyed every minute of our visit.

A Great Stay at the Chalet

We had a great stay. The Chalet was clean and well appointed, very comfortable beds and furnishings. Enjoyed a cookout and the wonderful backyard and river views. The Chalet. Was a perfect quiet spot away from the busy weekend crowd in Ohiopyle but still close enough to enjoy Whitewater rafting, Fallingwater, Ohiopyle Wine fest plus all the Hikes, Waterfalls and lookouts of the State Park. The nearby Train did not bother us during our stay. Hope to come back again soon!

Paddlers Lane Chalet

Great stay for a secluded getaway. Steps from the river and everything except food is provided (even a full rack of firewood at a reasonable price). House was immaculate. Only suggestion is to clear sides of lane a little to make it easier for two cars to pass. Would definitely return.

Great house on beautiful property!

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends. The house had a great set up for multiple families. The property is beautiful! Such a lovely setting right by the river. It is right behind a train track, but the noise wasn’t bad. I definitely recommend that you bring your own food to cook meals as there are hardly any nearby options for restaurants- especially in the off season (we stayed in March). Close proximity to Ohiopyle State Park and Fallingwater- both of which are great day trips. The owners were really nice and helpful!

Relaxing Get-A-Way

It was a friends get-a-way long weekend! Peaceful, relaxing. The place was perfect for 3 couples. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. Clean and spacious. Perfect for those who wanted to fish or hang out at the bonfire. Side note on the train- I'm a light sleeper and found the train to not bother me at all. =) Robin was very responsive with any questions we had. Gave us good information with local restaurants, activities, etc... Highly recommend this place! We will be returning!

Great week on the Yough!

Very Nice location, it feels like your remote but the town is 5 minutes away. Cabin was great and the firepit is between the cabin and the river. We will be back next year for sure! Dan is the man, if we needed something he was there ! "NOTE" The River Side Chalet and the River Side Chalet Plus are the same cabin. With the plus you get a very nice lower level, I was confused on that one .... but I'm old.
