"We were greeted by the owner with a smile and very helpful information to make our stay excellent. She sat down with us to help us plan our hiking experience. The room was extremely clean and set up nicely. The food was delicious and the homemade chocolate chip cookies were the best ever! A wonderful stay and I recommend it highly."
"This property is disgusting. The pictures on Expedia must be 30 years old. The room had stains on the carpets. There is hair and disgustingness all over the bathroom floors. There were hairs in “clean” sheets, the air conditioning is a very flimsy not put in well old window unit, NO AMENITIES not to mention There are homeless people living amongst you do not stay here.!!!"
"We did not expect to share a bathroom. We should of done our homework on the place. Its a lovely place to stay. Owner is very friendly, breakfast was accommodating to our wishes."
"Beautiful property overseen by a lovely person, Wendy was hospitable in every sense of the word; would absolutely love to come back to this amazing retreat in the woods. Also worth mentioning is the amazing waterfall within walking distance of the property. "

"This is a cool place - not much to do but worth staying at if you are in the Albany area and on the road. The food was awesome at the restaurants. Breakfast was great and so was the coffees."
"This place is gorgeous. It’s a mid century hotel with rustic touches. Very inviting, very relaxing. Takes you back to calmer easier times. Huge great room with lots of windows, a fireplace and a bar. Large deck has rocking chairs, a fire pit and quite the view, it overlooks 5 states. The new owner was on site and he’s proud of what he has there as he should be, I’ve been all over this country and never been to such a relaxing place. He plans to open a restaurant soon within the hotel. The bedrooms have been complete renovated. Brand new everything. Bed is very comfortable and the linens are high end. If you need anything the staff has got you covered. Make sure to book a room with a view of the valley to see the beautiful sunrise, however if those are booked you will still have an amazing view from the great room. They served coffee fruit and tea bread in the great room for breakfast. It’s the little touches that really matter We will definitely be back!
This place is a MUST stay!!

"We have stayed at this property many times and we love the comfort of home feeling that we get. The rooms and property are very clean and well kept. The pool is large and very clean. The staff is always so accommodating and friendly. We will continue to come here again and again for a quick Catskills getaway. "
"We LOVED staying at Wylder. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, views were amazing and we really enjoyed the amenities. Highly recommend! "
"The staff here is exemplary. Although this hotel is 25 minute drive, the drive was pleasant with great restaurants nearby. The breakfast had no hot options. "
