No snow this time and lake wasn't quite frozen, but the property was still fantastic. There is so much space between the 2 buildings that even with a large group plenty of beds for everyone. For us the views were amazing especially given the time of year with all the tree colors. The owner is amazing and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get off the grid and just relaxing."

It had everything we needed, and Judy was responsive and went over and above to quickly resolve any little issues. Location is wonderful... about 10 minutes to groceries and restaurants. "The property is on Wheeler Lake, which is a great lake for fishing and watersports. There's a sandy public beach nearby that you can visit for $5 per person, and the boat launch is fairly close. Lakewood is five minutes away. The cottage is older, but has been nicely remodeled with two newer bathrooms, a modern kitchen and numerous other updates. The only problem we encountered, which was absolutely not a huge deal for us, was that the WiFi password was not provided. We possibly located it but what we found did not work for any of the available networks. Again not a deal breaker but if this is important to you make sure to discuss before booking.
