At every glance inside Jim's house you will discover pieces he has collected from all over the world. It is truly a gift he is sharing with anyone who stays. The house was clean, well equipped, fully stocked and packing up and leaving was a breeze. Would definitely return!"

"This is a really great cabin, with lots of room. My daughter loved the tree themed room, this is a great place for kids and maybe 2-3 couples. Definitely one of the better cabins we've stayed at in the area. The view is really the best part, which I'm sure is gorgeous in the summer and winter. Hot tub was nice, and there was plenty of fire wood. They definitely have all the essentials except for shampoo/conditioner (you can easily buy some in town if you're like me and forgot). "The condo was lovely with amazing amenities. Very quiet but it was too far from trails, eateries, and other things to do. Had to drive everywhere and there was no view but there was a nice deck.Again very nice but just didn’t include some of the logistics I had hoped for. This was not our first time at Canaan but our first time at this property. Beware, there are steps from parking lot to unit but condo is one floor."

"The house is in a great location to visit all the attractions in the area of the Canaan Valley of West Virginia. If you like hiking there are plenty of trails nearby. The house is pleasant, comfortable and well equipped. The owners Laurie and Chip are next door if you need any assistance. The mountain views are spectacular!"
