The furnishings, art, and the presentation of inside and out was astonishing to every corner, so much thought went into this property. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to all the birds whilst having that first cuppa and then be able take a stroll around the huge property, smelling the roses as you go. The house is very comfortable and well equipped, walking distance to Hepburn and an easy two minute drive to Daylesford. The kids had great fun in the beautifully maintained ground and the woods at the back. The deco inside is beautiful. The Spa is great. The only downsides are no wifi (kids ipads had to use our mobile data for connection) and that upstairs aircon is noisy. Great location, close to lots of attractions and the home was well kept and had everything we needed. The walk into town has hills but that is to be expected of the area. Great character and little touches like coffee, tea, chocolate, wine, biscuits, electric blankets, spa bath were much appreciated. Just to take note for families with younger toddlers, the property backyard is on a slope leading down into a valley and the home has lots of beautiful antiques so keep a close eye on your little one. We didnt find it an issue with our 2.5yo and thoroughly enjoyed those aspects but could be a factor for others. The spa was deep and luxurious and provided products smelt deliciously coconutty. There is a lot of noise heard between bedrooms so hopefully you all go to bed and rise at the same time! Really a gorgeous stay and generous treats left for us too. We were not disappointed! Also a great location, very close to Daylesford and Hepburn towns, but far enough away so that you feel like you are in the countryside. Could not recommend the home more highly!
