“A private, luxurious house with upstairs rooms where guests and the owner sleep. The host is very friendly and will explain everything to you, including how to use the light switches. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It's the perfect place for someone who enjoys a homely atmosphere.”

“Well kept pub with separate accommodation block. The room was large, comfortable, exceptionally clean and in really good repair. The pub itself is also very pleasant, with a good menu and choice of beer. The whole experience made better by the very friendly, helpful staff. ”

“A beautiful place to stay. Our room was so clean and bright with wonderful facilities. A nice quiet location but near enough to the town. Our hosts were great and the breakfast was superb. I can't wait to visit again.”

“We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views……

The gardens are beautiful to enjoy and the building stunning. Highly recommend.”
