“We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views……

“I really enjoyed my stay at the adelaide, the couple who ran it were lovely, and made sure i wanted for nothing. The room was clean and warm, tea and coffee provided were ample, bed comfy. Keys provided for room and front entrance door, and no curfew. What more do you need. ”

“Lovely hosts and a very generous cooked breakfast with quality ingredients and big pot of tea plus lots of toast!
Room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony for warmer weather - lovely views to the other side.
Decor is somewhat dated and bathroom could do with update but everything scrupulously clean, loads of hot water and everything very comfortable. Could not have asked for more.”
