Wonderful stay
Cabin was clean and space was used well. Host is VERY quick to respond. Had an issue with Wi-Fi, it was handled in less than an hour. Nice location to trails, beautiful porch to have coffee on, large driveway for trucks and trailers. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Nice, clean cabin, comfortable
The cabin was very clean and fairly new, with linens included. Beds were comfortable. Good location for several trails, but we did need to ride on the highway to get to the trailheads. We had four adults and three kids with us, and we were comfortable, but it may have felt crowded with eight adults. Depending on your needs, be aware that most sleep space is up a sturdy large ladder, so if you need the restroom overnight, you may want to make sure you take the downstairs room. We were planning to make most meals in, and were surprised to find no stove or oven. These is a two burner plug in, an electric griddle, toaster oven and microwave, as well as an outdoor gas grill. We made do, but just something to be prepared for if you have a larger group. Also bring some disposable dishes and cups, since there is limited dishware. Very convenient to have full size washer/dryer. Creek is right next to property, which is nice. Fire pit is next to creek. Cabin is right on the road. Not a lot of traffic but loud when it came through and people drive extremely fast. Overall, a nice place and good location for riding. This review is from a woman’s perspective, my husband said it would be perfect for a group of of guys who are just there to ride and don’t care about cooking!

Overall trip was great and the cabin was perfect. Parking would be tight fit if you had a larger trailer but overall nice.

Beautiful cabin and great location!
My family and I stayed in the flat rock cabin to ride the Hatfield McCoy trails, the cabin was beautiful and very clean. The cabin is in a perfect location to access the Hatfield McCoy trails and in close proximity of anything you need. The owner David Bradshaw is very nice and very responsive in answering any questions about anything you need . I would highly recommend this place if your looking for a nice clean place within a short distance of the trails.
