“It’s a real shame to feel a need to leave a negative review as this. I can honestly say that this is the first negative review we have ever left for a hotel so it is not something that we find joy in doing. We travel to similar calibre hotels every month and I can honestly say this was the worst we have ever been to and we wouldn’t recommend spending your money going here. “We arrived around 6.30pm during a crazy storm, the down pour was full on. The signs could be clearer, our driver struggled to get up the steep hill so we walked with our bags. Staff were great, had dinner in the room and cocktails, tasted great. Room was nice with great views. We would happily stay here again. ”

We loved that the hotel was located a little outside of Ella proper, which allowed for connection with the beautiful environment and scenery while still being convenient to the amenities of the main town. Our room faced the hillside and had a wonderful view of the temple on the hill, and in the morning with opening the balcony doors allowed us to listen to chants and the sounds of birds and monkeys while waking up. “Hi this is a slightly more expensive for the area but for us it was worth it. There was a hidden surprise for us as they have an infinity pool on the roof and sundeck which had views to die for. The breakfast was excellent the games room was fun and the staff took no hesitation to join in with playing games with my son. Room was lovely and staff amazing and great location for short walk into Ella to explore. But quite expensive is only negative”

“It's fascinating to wake up in a room with the great mountains view and tasty Sri Lank breakfast. The owner also offers tuk-tuk ride in Ella. They have one-day package and one ride. The location is a bit far fr city center, it’s better because of quiet. Each tuk-tuk ride between hotel to city center is LRK 500.”
