"Brenda and Butch were amazing and gracious hosts. My family had a truly unforgetable experience. For adventurers and hikers, this is dream vacation stay. We saw amazing amount of wild life without coming across a single human being. If you want to stay in an incredibly crafted cabin and are looking for serenity off the grid, I don't think you could do better!"

"We LOVED our weekend getaway at the Fishing Cabin! It offers immense tranquility, fantastic views, swimming in the river, watching wildlife (deer, birds, bats, bears, etc), eating on the porch, unbelievable stargazing, and so much more. Our dog loved swimming in the river. Butch & Brenda were so welcoming and showed us the way down the property, with great recommendations for hiking. The place was very clean, cozy & well-equipped for cooking. Already looking forward to coming back here!"

"The stay was great! The fishing was great! We enjoyed swimming in the pond during the warm afternoon. It was nice teeing off just outside the front door. VRBO could make extending the stay easier though- we wanted to stay another night, but the website wouldn’t let us add a night even though it was available."
