“Comfortable beds, spacious bath, appeared to be recently remodeled. Excellent breakfast and wonderful staff. Would have given a 5 star rating except there were minor annoyances. In the third floor room, it is very easy to hit you head on the sloped ceiling when getting out of bed. “Lovely place, host extremely friendly and gave plenty of instructions/guides to local area. Very quiet, lovely lovely little place! Highly recommend for getting off the grid but not too far off the grid!”

“Drove for 7 hours and there was no answer at the door. The phone number provided is no longer live and no answers via emails. Spent hours driving around looking for alternative accommodation. Tried again later in the day. Still no answer. Stranded in the middle of nowhere! AWFUL!!! Tears!!! Managed to get into a caravan site 14 miles from where we needed to be. No supplies but coped. Home now! Still nothing from this property. Presume it is no longer active. Impossible to contact Hotels.com. ”

“It's the best stay experience ever!”

“Staying at Cambo is an unforgettable experience. When everyone else goes home, you get to stay and wander the beautiful grounds and spend the night in one of the historic rooms. The service is wonderful, the breakfast is huge and delicious (get the porridge!), and the bed was comfortable. I also loved being able to go for run through the property and directly to the sea in the morning! ”

"The hotel is too old, size of the room fine, but the washroom is not good enough. The bathtub is slippery and I slipped and hurt my head when I get into the bathtub. Besides, the floor in the bathroom is slippery too. The window in 4/F, half of the window is covered by concrete, the building decoration, no window view. The window in 2/F is fine. The room has high ceiling, but the window is too small. I’ve reserved 2 rooms, but they arranged one in 2/F, one in 4/F. Which makes us inconvenient to take care kids. They should aware it when we made the reservation. "
