It's probably not for everyone, but way up high in the mountains above Taos, new Mexico is a little ghost town that also housed a Serial Killer back in the late 1800's. "Charming cabin on a beautiful and heartfelt property. The tiny goats, alpaca and donkey were so cute! Fresh tomatoes and basil from the yard, wood stove in our cabin and wood soaking tub were special treats. Highly recommend this stay to anyone. "

"This was a great place for us! While this is a little older establishment it had charm with the pine wood interior. The manager was fabulous, friendly, and greeted us with a smile! We were on our HD Trike and towels were provided to wipe the bike down, after a bit of rainy weather! The room was very clean and had a cute functional kitchen area and a bathroom with great shower and lots of hot water! Highly recommend this quiet and lovely place!"

"I had a very pleasant stay at the Taos Inn. It’s close to everything and carries the old charm you just don’t find in cookie-cutter rooms. The character of the inn is a true plus. A meal at Doc Martin’s is a must, and don’t miss a late patio visit with a cocktail while people-watching the patrons of Taos. The Taos Inn is now a must-stay on my return trips."
