Balcony view was amazing. Breakfast spread was the best we got in Egypt. However, the Wi-Fi was not great and no Wi-Fi in hotel rooms.

From the moment I arrived until the moment I departed, the service at this hotel was consistently excellent — and that is entirely thanks to the people who work here. The front desk team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. Every interaction was handled with efficiency, warmth, and a smile. Housekeeping kept everything spotless and well cared for, always respectful and attentive to detail. The restaurant and bar staff deserve special praise — servers, cooks, and bartenders alike. Meals were well prepared, service was smooth and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet professional. It’s clear the kitchen and service teams work in sync and take pride in what they do. The doormen and concierge were outstanding — courteous, attentive, and proactive. Whether it was directions, transportation, recommendations, or simply a friendly greeting, they made every day easier and more enjoyable. Finally, credit to management for setting the tone. It’s obvious that this hotel is well run, that staff are supported, and that service culture matters here. Everyone I encountered — and many behind the scenes I never saw — contributed to an experience that felt seamless, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. Travel is often about places, but great trips are made by people. This team gets it right. The location is excellent for access to the waterfront and Luxor temple, good views from the front of the hotel The property is slightly dated but the staff are very attentive Would recommend as a good value location for a few days in Luxor

The reception area needs a lot of organization and space. Employees are so busy that no one answers the phone. They have desks more like tables and everything is a mess! Papers everywhere, hard to talk to them without everyone overhearing! Very noisy busy area I was asked to wait for hours in the area no welcome drink or anything until my room was ready. I had reserved transfer from airport with a confirmation but unfortunately no pick up was made! While checking in I was asked to pay the transfer!!! I was so angry and had to prove it didn’t happen, what a welcoming experience to a relaxing vacation! I had reserved half board and when I went to dinner I was stopped at the door to pay, when I protested they let me in no verification!!!! The main restaurant, buffet style, has poor quality and variety of food, not at all what I expected from a 5 star hotel. I am used to staying in hotels in Egypt and restaurants are all dazzling with all sorts of food creations, art and taste! Staff is local very kind and friendly but they don’t know how to talk to hotel guests. As if they were hired without training. I visited that same hotel 20 yrs ago, so different! I booked last minute, almost double the price, a deluxe room. Spacious, clean but again, being used to 5 stars hotel rooms I see missing: bathrobe, slippers and all bathroom kits! Lately I see loofah, shaving kit, toothbrush and toothpaste, shower cap, vanity kit,… where are these? Fridge was empty, 2 water bottles in room.
