This unique hideaway, spacious yet cozy, sits above an acre of peaceful nature, offering outstanding views from an expansive deck just 200 feet from the serene lake. Serene Nature Escape Wake up to the melody of birds and enjoy your morning coffee on a partially screened deck. Watch as wildlife ambles beneath the tall trees. You will feel right at home, as this is your home. Amenities have been designed for you to have all the luxury of home, yet being surrounded by all nature has to offer. If it is at the treehouse, it is yours to enjoy. We may or may not be at our cabin during your stay. You will be given the key code before your arrival. You can contact us via telephone or texting once you are on site. You will need to log into the WIFI to have cellphone service. We are always just text messages away. If we are at our place, we will share the space of the laundry room and the bocce court. We are always looking for challengers for bocce as well. Please note, we do require a $30 per dog fee that we will collect. Let me know if you are bringing your furry children and how many. We are also not opposed to events being hosted on the property. If having a wedding or family reunion is something you are looking to do, please contact me, and we can work out the details. I am a whole-foods personal chef and offer meals during your stay if you would like an added luxury. If you would like to explore this feature, let me know, and I would be glad to see how I can make your stay as luxurious as possible. It’s a great quiet spot on the lake perfect for kids (very shallow). We caught so many fish and all the wildlife/birds were amazing to watch. The cabin was super cute and we had a great week! Some things to note:1) Bedrooms smallish especially when using trundle/hide-away beds.2) Air conditioning only in bedrooms so must keep doors open and use fans to help cool living/kitchen areas.3) Seated eating area is limited. 4-5 people can be seated at the kitchen bar. Maybe 2-3 others can sit at a very small table in the screened-in-porch but if you want to eat together as a family, you’re either standing in the kitchen or using your lap on the couch.4) Very steep drive coming down to the cove/cabin. It shouldn’t be a problem for most vehicles but I think it’s important to note.5) To access the cove, you must cross the street. It isn’t busy at all but I was shocked when some cars did pass through because I just didn’t realize there were more homes past the cabin.6) It’s an older home with “sensitive” pipes, so even toilet paper goes into the trash. They have cute signage and trash cans next to the toilets to remind you.
