“The cabin is wonderful – great location, easy to get to, plenty of parking and it has everything you need. Just bring some food and you are all set. There are a lot of extras such as a fire pit with plenty of wood, a hammock and fresh eggs from the neighbor’s free range chickens. And the river is flowing by right there for you. Beautiful, clean water ready for you to catch your fish in. Definitely stay here if in the area.”

“Immaculately clean interior, Beautiful quiet setting as seen in pics with river and pastoral views. Very well stocked kitchen (a bit too many pans for cupboard space). Easy layout and entry. AC worked beautifully. Bats come out at night around 830pm and leave guano on the deck but this didn't bother us, we spent time outside on the deck nearer to the master bedroom. Hostess was very responsive when we accidentally locked ourselves outside. She was very apologetic about the outdoor Bat...

“The cottage was adequate for the four of us…all adults. My family had gathered in Calico Rock for a family reunion. Loved sitting on back porch and watching the White River.”

“This property is just as amazing as it was 30 years ago when I stayed with the previous owners. The upgrades to the inside and deck are tastefully done. This house has a “homey” feeling and the views are amazing.”

“This property has a great view of the White River. The host or manager will be adament with you about needing an awd or 4wd to access this property. Don't write him off he knows what he is talking about. This is a beautiful house with a million dollar view. However much like any house they tend to have their quirks. The down stairs half bathroom lacked a certain level of privacy (a door) . The kitchen sink doesn't drain properly it held a half a sink full of water for an extended period of time....

“We absolutely loved the quaint cabin 1, the amazing view, the intament setting of the the resort, and the amenities. We used the dock for fishing for nearly 8 hours with complete privacy. No one bothered us and no one was loud or obnoxious. One of the most relaxing vacations I've been in in some time. Additionally, the cabin was clean and comfortable, with all the supplies we needed to stay comfortably”
