“This was the most perfect home for three retired ladies looking for a weekend getaway. This home had everything we needed and more. The little porches are great for relaxing. The sunroom is great also but we only used it briefly. The home is very comfortable and had excellent air. The little kitchen is so cute and had what we needed. We all slept well on the beds. The park across the street was so relaxing and interesting. We would definitely rent again. Wished we had rented for three nights...

“This was a really great stay. Carolyn was amazing with her directions and the check-in process was very easy. We were able to pull into the garage and unload so we didn't get caught in the rain. The house is spacious with three living areas (one a really nice four seasons room with a pool table!) The bedrooms were roomy with lots of storage. “The views are serene and beautiful. The cabin is not far from town. The hot tub was enjoyable but a little quirky. The cabin was clean and beautiful. It was a great stay.”

“It was great! Host was very communicative. A few small things like tv remote needed new batteries, lamp light bulbs didn’t work. We ended up having to leave early because of power/water outage from natural disaster but wish we could have enjoyed our whole stay.”

“The place was clean, beds comfortable, easy communication leading up to the stay and easy access into the property. Plenty of room throughout the property. Severe storms knocked power out for about 15 hours and the host offered a nearby property so we could shower and freshen up. The only 2 items that could use attention are patio furniture cushions need to be replaced and the dishes and glasses and cookware is pretty sparse for the group of 9 we had. Otherwise great property for the price.”

“The description and location were on point. It was comfortable and accommodating. The given directions were fine, just cross the bridge and go to the 1st drive on the left.. There were a couple things that need to be passed on. The 3rd bed that is a futon in the middle bedroom, a little uncomfortable for 2 adults. After trying to figure out how 4 adults could take showers with 2 towels(no way to contact host), we discovered extra towels in the main bedroom bath. There were no DVD's so you might...

“My family enjoyed the house overlooking Lake Northfork so much that they just wanted to stay there and relax. I mentioned going on hikes, renting a pontoon, etc. They enjoyed the games, the space, the porches, fire pit and we were also blessed to be there when the Aura Borealis could be viewed The house lends itself to great family time.”
