“This cabin is very cozy, and conveniently located just 10 minutes from Ely. The best part of our stay was fishing off the dock - we caught lots of panfish and several sizable bass! It's very nice this property offers an aluminum canoe, kayak and paddles for use on the lake.”

“The cabin was a beautiful place to stay during our yearly fishing trip. The views were spectacular from both the cabin and dock. The surrounding area was quiet, aside from the sounds of nature. Regular sighting of the red fox population was a treat! All in all, a great vacation spot.”

“We had a wonderful stay. A charming little cabin for our family of 5 (4 year old slept on a mattress we brought). The highlight was kayaking at sunset and listening to the loons. I missed the detail about bringing our own bedsheets but Jay was so kind about it and brought us some extras he had. Would love to stay again! ”

“Excellent location for fishing different lakes each day. Armstrong is a great Bass lake. The camp host - Jay was very accommodating and was knowledgeable of the fishing on the other lakes nearby. “We had so much fun we didn’t want to leave! The cabin was just what we wanted- waterfront, with a sauna, near a marina, and on the mainland. Very solid internet as well. And the added convenience of being able to rent a fish/ski boat at a great rate! They really took care of our needs. Alyssa and Mike, you two are a pleasure to work with and we hope to be back! Thanks also for the use of the stand up paddle boards and kayak! ”

“We had an amazing time staying at the cabin on Loon Island. The cabin is beautiful, and is in fantastic condition. It has a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. you will need for cooking. The solar powered lights work extremely well, and we never had an issue using lights at night and charging devices during the day/night. Showering is simple using the collected rain water in the barrels outside and a battery powered shower head.Having the boat is awesome, and works very...

“The cabin was small but adequate for our stay. It is advertised as a 2 bed 2 bath but there is only one bathroom which is small. There aren’t bedrooms per se just one bed is located behind a closet from the other two beds. Property is convenient to everything and pet friendly though so it worked out great for a 2 night stay for us. Checkin was easy and property manager communicated well. Would stay with this host again.”

“We had an awesome time with family in this beautiful and spacious cabin on White Iron lake. Plenty of room both inside and out to accommodate all of our needs. The large wraparound deck is fabulous and leads to the little ng boardwalk out to the lake. Our only concern is the boardwalk could use some stabilization in a few places. The beautiful cabin interior was super clean and well appointed!Would definitely recommend this stay and would love to return again!”

"We had an amazing time staying at the cabin on Loon Island. The cabin is beautiful, and is in fantastic condition. It has a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. you will need for cooking. The solar powered lights work extremely well, and we never had an issue using lights at night and charging devices during the day/night. Showering is simple using the collected rain water in the barrels outside and a battery powered shower head.Having the boat is awesome, and works very well for fishing and simply exploring the lake. It's a small motor so you won't be zipping around the lake, but it serves its purpose very well. We also enjoyed using the paddle boat and canoe.Outside the cabin there is also a firepit with a grill attachment that we loved to use, a charcoal grill, and a gas grill. There are a couple different places to hangout and have great views of the sunset as well. It is incredibly peaceful listening to the loons as the sun goes down.We had no issues organizing our stay with Neil and the caretaker Rob, and it was very easy checking in and out.Overall, our stay was wonderful. It exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be back."
