“We had a lovely stay at Millside, the location was perfect. Great walks in the area and very easy to get into Keswick. We hired extra items, that were there when we arrived and the customer team was very quick to respond to an issue we had. Parking was good, but I wouldn't say there was space for two cars. Would be good to have some bits in the kitchen like a set of scales and a rolling pin. But apart from that, we had everything we need and we will be back.”

“We had a wonderful stay in this cosy, quiet cottage with plenty of space and everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked but, you will need to bring any essentials salt and pepper, oil, etc. very nice pet welcome pack and packs of welcome with tea and cleaning items. There is a village shop nearby and several pub restaurants. There are a number of great walks on your doorstep from easy to more challenging without needing drive.. A beautiful area to explore so……

“Grasmere is great place to book stay. Oakbank property was great and we had everything we needed to stay with comfort. The parking space is tight if you have bigger vehicle pr sedan car.”

“The view of the mountains is stunning. The house is comfortable with plenty of space. It is well equipped with a delightful garden. Portinscale is a lovely setting with a very nice cafe and pub.”

“This is a little gem in the heart of a village Highly recommend to everybody, restaurants pubs shop and beach all within minutes of the cottage’s property was spotless clean and lovely and warm , met the family over the course of four days all very nice with plenty of smiles every time you see them Very dog friendly with many lovely walks around the area”

“We have recently returned from a 4 night break at Tawny cottage. Already knowing the Keswick area well we knew Portinscale would suit us well - outside the bustle of Keswick but within easy walking distance down a nice path, and easy access to local country walks. The cottage was immaculate in both cleanliness and decor - and well equipped - with off street parking. Our adult daughter had the 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds ( would have been a perk if was 2 singles which could be set up as a King……

“We had a wonderful stay with our dogs. It is a lovely fully equipped cosy cottage with great views. It’s is in a lovely spot of Braithwaite. The only warning is to be VERY careful leaving the drive as it’s on a blind bend in both directions on a single car road. The garden is lovely and I imagine it will be beautiful to sit outside in Summer.”
