Clean room and hotel, great breakfast

We stayed for eight nights. The staff is very helpful and polite. The room was clean, the bedding was very comfortable. The only thing that gave an impression other than cleanliness is the hotel carpet, both in the room and the hallway and stairs. It is worn and it has been cleaned many times to remove stains. I would still consider the room clean regardless but it gave a poor impression. Don’t get me wrong, I was very happy with my stay and I would stay again. Should you book a room here don’t hesitate to include the breakfast. It was very very nice and the staff made it even more enjoyable. Thank you Hotel Grand Bellevue.

It’s a beautiful building and an exceptional location. But I struggle to see how this can be a 4 star. The carpet on the rooms is very very old and stained, the bed sheets are so short that they keep moving about and you end up sleeping on the raw mattress, and the air dryier is one of those wall mounted ones - which I don’t think I have ever seen in a 4 star. I asked whether I could get a normal plug-to-wall one but I was told no (I’m not the most kind of manners)

Accommodation is in a key location, close to all attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Only a short 10 minute walk from the train station. Staff was helpful and accommodating, we needed for nothing. The rooms were cozy, but there were adequate places for their luggage and clothing. The bed was firm yet comfortable, and although there might have been concerns of noise we experienced none. A a very good stay, we would return here as a first choice.

Glad I had read from other reviews that the street entrance isn’t too inviting, but once inside it was a great studio. Clean and modern with excellent en-suite and plenty of clean towels. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the temperature. Very pleased to have the fan, and there are big easy opening windows, but it was 30C outside so at times uncomfortably warm. Also lots of air on units running just outside. Closing curtains in the morning kept direct sunlight out, and perhaps owners could have closed curtains on the day we checked in so it was cooler when we arrived? Very easy to use key entry with clear instructions and prompt helpful support when I asked a stupid question! We were also offered earlier access which was appreciated.
