Friendly and helpful staff. Really lovely decor and furnishings. Hot water temporarily not working in my room and so I was immediately given a key to another room to shower. It is a small and very quiet hotel with a bed that was very comfortable for me so I slept very well. Thankfully for those like myself that can't carry suitcases up stairs there is a lift. Breakfast is served promptly in a a beautifully decorated room with art books to peruse if you choose. The only minor point is that I would have liked maybe just one hot item but the meat and cheese were of a good quality. The hotel is right in the centre a five minutes walk from Gare Flandres and only 10 from Gare Europe. I would return again.
