"just for 1 night there and a very short night anyway. Expensive for what is on offfer. Everything is tired in the room, the shower very small and no water pressure. Dirty marks on the walls, a bit of mould in the shower. Reception however did a great job ."

"This is a perfectly nice hotel. It has a small bar and even though it was Easter Monday and everything was closed they opened it up for us to get a drink. We would have liked to eat at the restaurant just next door, but it was closed. This isn't a destination hotel, but if you need a comfortable place to sleep with very nice staff and a decent breakfast, this place is very nice."

"It is a budget hotel under the Ibis banner. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. A good option for a break in your travel."

"The property was nothing like the photographs. The outside area was very run down and not well maintained. No Reception and no one to meet and greet. In fact it took a while to find a way into the property and discover a phone number to call for assistance. Once contacted Yoel was very obliging. Told me to go up to a room that did not have an ensuite. Mentioned the shared bathroom at this time had no hot water! Eventually, put me in another building with hot water but no wifi! If I wanted wifi I would need to walk back to the main building! It was a ground floor room and luckily I checked as one of the “French windows” was not locked. The room had many cobwebs and spiders. When drawn the curtains did cover all of the windows. Dead bugs on the floor. In the bathroom there were dead bugs in the bath, and more cobwebs. No extractor fan. So everything got covered in steam and became quite damp. The soap, a small disc, looked like it had been used by someone else. On check out there was no one to speak with, and I saw no member of staff even though I did not depart until after 2.00 pm. It seems I was the only guest in the hotel overnight. Even though on the Expedia web site supposedly only one room left available! I’m wondering if that may have been the reason there was no staff! Definitely someone from Expedia should physically check this hotel. Would stay here again, and worry regarding future Expedia recommendations!"

"This is a lovely house in the countryside. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is quite large, incredibly so for an indoor one. The kitchen is very well equipped (it even has heat lamps). The neighborhood is quiet farm country, but close to Sens for shopping or a little sightseeing. The landlady speaks and writes only in French. There is a lengthy contract one must sign that is in French. We are in France of course, so this is fair! But I will say my intermediate level (B1) French didn’t feel adequate … I absolutely wouldn’t risk it if I didn’t speak any French (even with google translate). There are instruction books in the house in both French and English. There is a huge selection of active games! Foosball, ping pong, etc. Great! We found that the a/c was not up to the job. It wasn’t terribly hot when we arrived, but even so, our first night was uncomfortable. The air conditioning only works downstairs. All the bedrooms are upstairs and are not cooled by the a/c much. Although there are lovely big windows in 3 of the 4 bedrooms, there are no mosquito screens and I was quite bitten up the first night. And the fourth bedroom is in a separate building with no exterior windows at all, and no a/c. Overall, this is a lovely house with a wonderful pool and most of the amenities one would want, but the lack of adequate cooling makes this a 3 season house in my opinion. If I were in the area I would consider renting it in the winter, but not again in the summer."
