This is a lovely, third generation family-run hotel, close to the centre. As a single traveller, I often get rooms the size of a small cupboard, but this was spacious, well appointed and with AC. A lovely plant-filled terrace was outside my door. English speaking staff pleased always pleased to help. The 33 Circulare bus stop is yards away and there are plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. Great value for money

The staff at the hotel were all very courteous and helpful. The bedroom was well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel is not great as there is absolutely nothing around it. It is well connected to Bologna via bus (about 25/30 mins from the centre) which as advertised does stop immediately outside the premises. We had hoped to have dinner on the Sunday evening as we had a very early flight on the Monday morning. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on Sunday despite being advertised as open 7 days which was disappointing. There wasn’t much activity in the hotel and the bar area wasn’t staffed as such and was a bit soulless and uninspiring. The cost of the hotel was much the same as others which had more amenities around them.

Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stayed at Best Western Maison B in Rimini and it was a wonderful surprise. The location is fantastic — super convenient, right in the heart of everything. A special mention to the wonderful lady (manager or owner — we’re not sure!), who was excellent and genuinely cared for us when my wife wasn’t feeling well. Her kindness made all the difference and turned the stay into something truly memorable. The breakfast was super good, with a great selection and quality that set us up perfectly each day. We stayed in the building next to the main one and absolutely loved the rooms — compact but beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Good parking, and we really enjoyed being right next to the excellent Italian restaurant Gatto Nero — perfect for dinner. All in all, a highly recommended hotel with heart, comfort, and a great vibe. We’d happily return!
