“Very pretty cottage. Close to the train station and taxis, and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Foot Path (breath-taking views). An easy walk into Fishguard and restaurants, pubs, grocery store, etc.
We give the bed an “8” for comfort, but everything else was perfect or better! The owners left us a bottle of wine and some Welsh cookies, there was plenty of hot water, and the locals were friendly, relaxed and helpful.”
“Wonderful stay…..Excellent introduction with many recommendations of walks and beaches etc to visit. So many lovely walks to go on without having to do too many miles in the car. Really appreciated the lovely welcome gifts. Felt a home from home. Will definitely come back.THANK YOU…”
“Nice and considerate treat from the hotel owners ( who are also a pair of married couple). Can't miss the delicious Chinese / Thai style dinner prepared by the kitchen!”
“Two houses converted to a hotel with multiple extensions done to an average standard: windows not fully opening, uneven and squeaky floors. The staff were friendly. The bar and restaurant were cosy and the breakfast room was light and bright. We had the continental breakfast, which was lovely, with a choice of cereals, fabulous choice of fresh fruit and juices, ham & cheese, Danish pastries, toast, and individual pots of tea & coffee. ……
“Staying at Roch Castle was a truly unique experience and well recommended. Location to the peninsula was great and the charm of staying in a 12th century renovated castle was great experience. It has been renovated to the highest quality and has lovely sitting rooms to relax in.”
“There is misleading information on Expedia. The hotel advertises a local cuisine breakfast included, but in reality, breakfast is a basic continental breakfast served in your room. It also advertises a super king bed, but this is actually two single beds pushed together, which was disappointing.
The food at the pub was average and did not live up to the high ratings, making us question the authenticity of some of the reviews.
The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Given the price of the……
“We had a very comfortable room, the breakfast was great, especially with the view of the sea and sky. Overall, we had everything we needed for a very pleasant nights stay. The location is amazing.”
