"Inside the hotel, the property is clean, spacious and comfortable. The hosts are very attentive. The room was very comfortable. While there is a gated parking lot in the back, the street is on a steep hill, which requires a steep set of concrete stairs to get up and down to walk anywhere, including public transportation. It is very dirty and full of trash, which had obviously been there for weeks or months. Sidewalks are narrow and littered with dog poop in addition to litter. The building across the street is abandoned. We did not feel unsafe however, but it is a bit off-putting. "

"Got back from the Bagnara two days ago and had the most wonderful stay at Victoria Grand Hotel. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The general manager Frank was amazing. He went out of his way to take us round the island and show us all the lovely spots. Had the most awesome stay and would recommend.
