The hotel is in disarray, with paint cans and other construction debris in the hallways and public areas. Ice machines did not work, the lock to our room did not work and the whole lock had to be physically replaced - leaving the door open for 30 minutes while we were already in the room. It is very close to downtown and was reasonably priced. Although decor is traditional-a-la-1994, it totally works with the double staircase, numerous comfy common areas + friendly staff. Recommendations for the hotel - or for travelers to bring if important - would be to add a full length dressing mirror somewhere in the rooms.
