Only a few minor recommendations: matches and paper for fire-starting in wood stove; Kleenex; more transparency about available sleeping areas - there were no mattresses on the sleeping porch beds. Otherwise it was perfect for our memorial gathering."

"The McKenzie River house is right next to the river and all of its magnificence. Everything inside the house is there for you to enjoy the river and your stay. We are a group of plein air painters and this was our annual retreat.The wide deck above the river was very important to us to set up our easels for the views.The front wooded acreage was an alternate subject for our paintings. The sunshine through the trees beautiful.Tim was so reassuring and attentive, leaving flowers and wine to welcome us. Some of us enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor shower, and river swing. We cooked fabulous meals in the well appointed kitchen. The huge dining table was our gathering place.This was one of our most favorite places to paint outdoors."
