Location and Nature!

The screened in porch and private dock on the canal was amazing. The neighborhood is great for walks, and the beach is only a few miles away. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Pompano stay

The place was nice and neat but had a few other problems. The beds squeaked so bad we had to put the mattress on the floor because the box spring was so noisy. Not how I was planning to spend the week. The tub had peeling paint which was not very nice while taking a shower. The rest of the house was nice but the other parts I mentioned made the stay not as pleasant as I was hoping it would be.

Good quiet neighborhood on canal

The house was good, not great. It was the ideal location for us (2 min drive from in-laws, spacious for just two of us, and being on the canal is very nice. We didn't spend a ton of time in the house as we were visiting family but did have a few issues: - not fully turned over: the outside garbage can was full from previous guests and smelled terrible, causing the entire house to smell quite often. The washer and dryer were also both full of sheets from previous guests. - needs updating: kitchen appliances are functional but old (didn't impact us because we didn't use the kitchen much), tub shower floor was peeling, mattresses very loud and uncomfortable, broken mirror closet doors - water pressure: shower in the in-suite bathroom wasn't good so we could only use the other shower.

Pompano Beach Oasis

The house was adequate however the grass in front and back was overgrown and not mowed also had palm debris all over. The bathtub in the one bathroom was painted and peeling. The back screen door handle was broken with a sharp point coming out of the handle. Also the back slider door kept locking unintentionally. There was no contact # or book of house instructions so if there was a problem a manger could not be contacted. Overall the house needed updating. The view out back was beautiful, and kayaks would have been a nice addition to the property. There was an old, deflated rubber raft boat in the side yard that was left, and it was covered in tree debris. The outside area and yard were totally unkept.

I rented this home for my friends in town from overseas. The experience was bad from start to finish. Upon checking in we discovered that there was no hot water in the ensuite bathroom and the toilet made a huge screeching. Also discovered that the house did not have a smart TV as advertised nor a cable TV. The house was not clean nor in good repair. The bottom of the dishwasher is rusted and hole in it—blinds full of dust, shower dirty and rest of house not clean. Contacted homeowner to inquire about cable or smart tv. He purchased one and had the TV DROPPED IN A BOX at the front door. Nobody wants to set up even their own TV - let alone for someone else!!! While he did try to fix the bathroom issues, the water was still lukewarm. After stating our concerns and leaving for the day we arrive at the house that was still dirty and TV box in the front of the house. We had no choice but to move out to find a clean place that is in proper repair. The owner did not offer any refund. :( I would not recommend this house to be listed for anyone.
