The hotel is really dirty. Theres a musty smell, mold in the bathroom and stains on the carpet and walls. There was no bathroom door and obvious water damage in the bathroom. I didnt feel safe or comfortable, so i left after one night. I don't think any money has been spent on the rooms in a long time. The owner or person who checked me was very nice, but once i saw the room i realized the owner just dosen't care. Even the lamp shade was cooked! They couldn't even be bothered to straighten it out. I slept one night, but onto of the covers and used my own blanket. I would'nt stay here until they decide to clean it up. The next hotel i stayed at was the same price, same location and totally wonderful! The good reviews i thinj must be from family and friends. The hotel is dog friendly without an additional charge. If you want basic and clean, Prospect Inn will work for you. The hallway smells like cigarettes but you can access your room from the outside instead of the hallway. The decor is out dated but clean.
