"Wonderful Stay and Very Generous Host:Our large family enjoyed this lovely home in its remote location. It is well stocked with utensils, games and toys and made ready for enjoyment without much need for anything more than food and drink for your stay. It is a short walk to the river/lake and there is plenty of 'beach' to play on. The beach is sand and river rock so best to have water shoes to comfortably walk into the water. That said, it offered lots of opportunity for kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding; all supplied by the host. There is a mooring buoy for a boat; the only thing guests have to provide. There is also a volleyball net and rope swing our family enjoyed immensely. Deer frequent the property as well as turkeys. The dining table on the deck is wonderfully large giving all of our large family a seat at the table. We truly enjoyed our stay and would go there again. "

"This is our 4th or 5th time at this property. Every summer we look forward to our family get-together. It is made possible because of the thoughtful set-up that the owner has added to her home. It feels so like a "real home" and not some sterile hotel room. Our family is now from 6 yrs. to 75 yrs old and we all have a place to relax, converse, watch the kids play and even get in on the action. The town of Nine Mile Falls has some excellent amenities. The use of the owner's pier at the river is where we spend alot of our time. We feel very blessed to have found Nine Mile Falls 5 years ago!"

"This house was a true blessing! We are private people who live in the country, so we often find rental houses too close to other houses, loud neighbors and/or traffic noise…NONE of these! This beautiful house was true as advertised and even better. Great back deck, very private and quiet. As other reviews note, the deer coming through the property is so cool. House was clean, well appointed and a great value. Also, communication with Ginger was great. She was super sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back! "

"Property was double booked so the campground manager (Cindy) worked very hard to clean out another place that was being lived in. However, when we returned from the 4th if july fireworks we found out that the gas oven didn't have any gas. Also there was no couch, no outdoor grill. The next day I tried to contact the VRBO person Todd. He was able to get Cindy to get a tank of gas to the cabin later in the evening and also provide a small grill for us. "
