We had a very pleasant stay at The Huntsman Inn in Galway. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring Galway and the surrounding area. We also enjoyed the traditional feel and character of the hotel. A great place to stay in Galway—comfortable, welcoming, and conveniently located. We would happily stay here again!

The Huntsman in is a nice hotel with pink hallways. Our room was big and clean but the best part about the Huntsman is the restaurant attached is really, really good and has great staff. We liked being a bit out of town - just a 10-15 walk into the busy busy center of Galway.

This is a great place to stay, situated outside of the Galway downtown area. It’s a long walk, but an easy uber ride into town to take advantage of the area. If you’re driving Ireland, it is a great place to stay because of the free parking. You can walk into town along the water, which is also nice. The hotel is small, which is cool, but the rooms are spacious and well appointed. We ate breakfast at one of the restaurants below the hotel and liked it. We thought about eating dinner there, but went into the pedestrian zone to eat both nights we were there. Would definitely stay at the Huntsman Inn again if and when we return to Galway.

This was a nice property. It was a small hotel with the rooms directly above the restaurant below. The room was well appointed. There was good pressure and lots of hot water. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not to my liking- flat and lumpy. The breakfast in the restaurant was not included in the room price but was reasonable. There was a good selection and service was prompt and friendly. The hotel is about a 20 min walk from Eyre Square and the French Quarter.

The property is in a perfect location in Galway. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even bringing us room service when we were in a time crunch but needed lunch prior to going out. The room was very comfortable and cozy. We absolutely will return when we end up in Galway again.

Hotel was very nice overall. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant / bar area was very nice, although the food itself was average at best. The staff was as helpful as possible. At night the girl serving as hostess was also the one who checked us in. Although the hotel wasn't in the heart of the main shopping, restaurant and pub area it was a quick taxi ride to get there. Parking on site was very convenient.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Huntsman. From the moment I walked in the door at the reception desk to my meals in the restaurant, and to my leaving everyone was so welcoming so kind so helpful that it helped overcome any issues going on in the country related to fuel shortages. They are an excellent staff. Wonderful rooms. Beds are extremely comfortable.
