"Stayed a week. Mountains with snow caps view from front, river in back, very quiet area. Only disappointment was level of river water, was way down. Palmer about 10 minutes away and has everything you need. Property looks better than pictures, it is only about a year old. Saw a few moose when traveling Old Glenn highway south."

"Family trip and first time to Alaska. Of the three places we stayed, this one was our favorite! The views were amazing, we enjoyed the amenities, and the location is close enough to plenty of things to do. I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling to Alaska and I hope to visit again one day."

"I recently stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Eagle River, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is convenient—just off the highway and close to local shops and restaurants, which made exploring the Anchorage area easy. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, especially after long days of sightseeing. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One area for improvement would be the breakfast selection—it was fairly minimal, and I would have liked a few more hot options. Also, while the hotel is generally well-maintained, some of the furnishings felt a bit dated. Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly, no-frills place to stay near Anchorage, this Microtel is a solid choice. I’d consider staying here again for the convenience and value."
