"We had a weekend stay to go skiing at Holiday Valley. No snow, so that was a bummer. Travel to the resort is 8.3 miles, about 15 minutes. The travel is so worth the privacy. Chalet was very nice..greaty layout with lots of room. Beautiful wrap around deck! Washer/dryer was great to have. Kitchen could've had a little better amenities. Outside was a little disappointing...cans and candy wrappers around; pond unkept; sleds just laying around; driveway could've used more stone (kinda muddy); chairs...

"Very clean property and house. The heating of the rooms is uneven; the upstairs bedrooms become very hot in the middle of the night even when you turn off the fireplaces. The lower bedroom was very cold. Almost all the time unless you left the fireplace burning. The stairs off of the deck going down to the yard could both use a safety railing to hold onto. "My 82 year old cousin, and myself (age 80) stayed in this quite lovely apartment. Very comfy bed, adequate kitchen, clean, and most everything one would need. I would have wished to k ow that the unit was on the second floor as it was a bit difficult for us to carry out luggage up the 14 steps. Also, I would have like to have a tea kettle to boil water and some Kleenex. Other than that, would recommend for younger folks."
