Great place to stay when you're flying out from Buffalo. Shuttle got me to airport on time for my flight. Very nice accommodations.

There were a few downsides to staying at the Lenox. The hallways and room both smelled heavily of bleach, and my wife didn't like it from the start. It's a 130 year old hotel, so a lot of things felt run-down or dated. For example, there were very few available power outlets. The tub in the bathroom has no method of stopping the water to create a bath; it's a shower only. There used to be a restaurant downstairs, but it is permanently closed. It's not the greatest neighborhood, and they lock the doors at night to keep locals from wandering into the hotel (that's been an issue). The attached parking lot is large, but available spaces fluctuated wildly during our stay. The staff gives you a parking pass to avoid getting towed, but one night there we returned at 2 in the morning and there was only one space next to the dumpster. We were awoken by the hotel staff at 6:30 with a request to move our car, and by then there were many spaces available. The price is competitive, though, and the hotel is close to some places we wanted to go, including the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site.

A perfectly serviceable place to stay. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We had to turn down the A/C but that’s always a matter of preference. The staff were very friendly. The breakfasts were just okay — we really don’t expect much. We’d definitely stay at the hotel again.

The staff were amazing!

The front desk staff was great. There was a glitch with the morning shuttle driver, and they preemptively ordered a replacement, at no cost to us. I appreciate that they offer up to two weeks parking for a fee. The room was nice, although the style was a bit dated, and the furniture had a few dings. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom clean and spacious. The blackout curtains were effective, and the area is quiet. A few things prevented a better review. One, the carpet in the hall is the third floor was obviously worn and not completely clean. Second, there were no charging points in the room. On the plus side, there are some very nice restaurants on the property. We didn’t try them. They were too expensive for us. The one that was open on Monday had a $60 per person prix fixe menu.
