Beautiful mid century time capsule!

The property was beautiful located within a great part of town. Amenities were plentiful and there was enough room me and my guests. The toilet area could use some cleaning as there were rust/brown staining and the coffee beans provided were expired 2 years ago but other than that, lovely home and had great night's stay! Highly recommend!

The most totally awesome time-warp wonder

We had THE best time at this place under the circumstances. (We came in to town due to a funeral.) This place helped us relax after some hard days. I love antiques and aesthetics from the 50s-70s. And if that is your thing this IS the place you need to check out. Great space for family. This has been one of my favorite VRBOs if not THE best!

In town for a work trip

Definitely one of the coolest places we’ve stayed while on a work trip. It was clean, comfortable and relaxing. Zach was a great host.

We had an amazing week in the time capsule. It was super clean, super cute and super functional for all our needs! The back yard was amazing for our kiddos and Zach was such a great host. He always communicated and was prompt with any questions I had! Book it!

Wonderful

I highly recommend here. Host is wonderful and easy to talk to and I very outstanding neighborhood. For work or vacation this is the place to be. I will most deffently be booking here again for my next job here when it comes up.

This property is not only located near downtown Greenville but it is also in a quiet neighborhood! The property is amazing! There was plenty of parking for our five cars in the driveway. The decorations were beautiful and the beds were so comfy! This property was the perfect place for my bachelorette party! I would stay here again if I could. Definitely pick this place!

Greenville Visit

First time to Greenville and the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate. Excellent communication and extremely helpful. The house is like stepping into a movie set, takes you to another reality. Was great fun!

Family Time in Peaceful Neighborhood

My family enjoyed our spring break trip to Greenville, and we were happy to find Zach’s property close to everything we needed (grocery, restaurants, parks, other local relatives nearby). The kids played in the large backyard and lounged both inside and outside in the quiet, friendly neighborhood. The property description was accurate, and I was delighted to find so many authentic mid-mod features and decor familiar from childhood memories with my grandparents! Zach was an excellent host.

Mad Men Vibes in Greenville

We had an amazing weekend at this property. The property is so fun and really leans into the 1960's Mad Men vibe - loved that the owners kept so many of the original elements of the home. The carport and outdoor area was fantastic for our kids to play. The owners were so responsive - we left a kindle and they were kind enough to ship it back. 10/10 stay.

Fun and stylish house close to downtown

My friends and I stayed here for a little college reunion and had a great time. It was a perfect location, close to downtown and in the cutest neighborhood. We enjoyed going for a run and checking out all the other cool houses. Usually rentals are cookie cutter and sterile feeling; not here! This house is full of nostalgic personality and we enjoyed discovering all the little treasures, right down to picking out the perfect coffee mug in the morning. As you would expect with an authentic mid century house, it had a bit of an older home smell, but nothing that concerned us at all. Check in was a breeze and we appreciated the details like makeup washcloths and fans in each room.

Just what we were looking for!

We took a family trip to explore the Greenville area and were looking for something close to downtown but also all surrounding areas. This location was perfect. The neighborhood is quiet and nice and the house was clean and well-maintained, which I’m very picky about. Loved the commitment to the style, as well! We really appreciated all the little things the host did to make arrival easier, like including some paper products, soap, etc, so we didn’t have to run out to the store immediately. It was a seamless check-in and check-out process. Also appreciated the list of nearby restaurants. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Greenville area.

Great place to stay!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Zach and Chads place. They were quick to reply to any questions we had. I accidentally booked the incorrect nights and they helped me fix the mistake with no extra charges. They had every accommodation we could think of and really went above and beyond to make our stay stress free. The house looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. The decor looked like it was straight out of a magazine and the house was extremely clean. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and is quiet. We would absolutely recommend staying there!

A Gem in Greenville

We spent a weekend here to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. There were family members and some college friends staying in the home, and it was the perfect size for all of us. It is a short distance to downtown Greenville; so easy to get an Uber/Lyft and inexpensive. It was the perfect home for the celebration. I needed to do some cooking and baking while there, and the kitchen had all the appliances, pots, pans and utensils. The mid-century decor was so nostalgic and fun for me and my husband. I contacted the Property Owner to ask if we could check-out at 11am instead of 10am. He responded so quickly and was happy to accommodate our request. We appreciated their flexibility! The only negative to report is the musty, stale-cigarette smell in the home. The cooking/baking I did helped to mask the smell for some of our visit. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and an easy registration/check-in/check-out process.

Nice house but strong smell

We were excited to stay here with our family for Thanksgiving week based on the location, listing description, photos and positive reviews. The house is a nicely curated home in a convenient location, but has several issues that made our stay less than desirable. Upon entering the house we were immediately inundated with a strong mouldy smell. It lasted the entire week. Surprised that such a strong mouldy smell would not be mentioned, we read every review and found one reference to a musty smell from October 2023. The host responded to that review with “ We haven’t had complaints about any odors of musty smells…. and make sure the home is check for any odors routinely.” Reading this, we sent a message to the host about our experience and concerns of mould. The host also gave us the same response about not having other complaints from previous guest, that they monitor the crawl space regularly for moisture and lastly the house is from the 50s and smells are to be expected. Not a very sincere response, so we figured we would address the issues in this review. There were a few other issues with the house, mainly with the bathrooms. The shower knobs are stripped and require force to operate, multiple knobs fell off during use, and one toilet rocks on the floor. On the third night, there was a strong sewage/rotten smell emanating from the kitchen and small bath. Lastly, a train passes by several times during the night, not a problem unless a light sleeper.

Good all over experience

Great experience, place was good, enjoy the stay. If I had to complain about anything, it would just be about the main shower. I might’ve been using something incorrectly, but I was not able to completely engage the valve that operated the shower separate from the bathtub. So a lot of the water that was hot actually just went straight from the bathtub, spout down the drain, as opposed to through the showerhead. Not a big deal, but it did cause the hot water to run out more quickly than it otherwise would have. Communication with the host was fantastic, and we appreciated the early check-in.

Great authentic modern midcentury house

We loved this unique property! Tons of room and privacy. Don’t go expecting brand new kitchen or bathrooms, but everything was in working order and so cute! Plenty of space for 5 people. Loved the yard and carport area too. Reccomend! Excellent communication. Easy checkout.

Lovely Oasis

This is an adorable home, centrally located in a very quiet neighborhood. I had an extended stay and very much enjoyed my time here. Some furry and feathered friends kept me company and Zach and Chad are simply delightful. Thank you so much for everything guys! Anyone staying here will be glad they did!

Wonderful MidCentury Modern Home

As architects, we truly enjoyed our stay at this classic MCM ranch home. Four adult family members were able to comfortably stay here for Thanksgiving week. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out. The house is conveniently located for going to downtown Greenville, Paris Mountain State Park and Travellers' Rest. A grocery store is within a 4 minute drive, as well as other conveniences. The kitchen is adequately equipped. Pro tip: No dishwasher so consider bringing paper plates or plan on family bonding time at the kitchen sink! We would stay here again!

The mid century decor and set up was very unique. The home has a lot of space and was very comfortable. The location is ideal as it is 10 minutes from downtown and a short drive to Hiking.
