Guernsey Vacations from $498

Upon arrival, the hotel smelled like sewer gas! The room size is great, but with the sewer gas smell, it was hard to sleep. Wanted to use the pool, but all lights were off. Asked and an employee grudgingly turned the lights on. Upon entering the pool area, the sewer gas smell was so strong!!! Needs some major maintenance help.

It was great place and amazing bed and great shower

Clean quiet rooms

I had stayed at this hotel in 2022 and was very impressed with it. When I needed a place to stay in 2026, I didn't think twice about where I should make my reservation. Sadly, over those 4 years between stays, things went downhill. This time the breakfast buffet was sub-par at best. Just don't eat ANY of the eggs. Every egg option that was offered was not a real egg. There were little to no non-sugary options. Just oatmeal. Which wasn't cooked well. It was soupy, but somehow also undercooked. The toilet in our unit ran every time we flushed. We brought this up to the woman at reception and asked that someone fix it because we didn't want to waste water. No one ever showed up over our 5 day stay. The cable network in the room was awful. We were trying to watch the local news programs available so that we could be prepared for the ever changing Western Nebraska fall weather. Approximately ever 30 to 60 seconds, the screen would freeze, then go black and come back about 7 seconds later. We reported this to the front desk and were told, "that's just what happens." They also only provided housekeeping services every 3 days. At the price we paid for the room ($150 per night), I would expect more frequent service. On the positive side, the pool area is small but nice, there is a nice gym to work out in and they do have laundry machines. The rooms are reasonably sized and the beds and pillows were comfortable.
