On the beach

I rented this condo specifically for its beachfront location, hoping to enjoy stunning ocean views and the soothing sound of waves at night. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations due to several maintenance and comfort issues.The primary draw of this rental was the promise of opening the bedroom sliding door to hear the waves while falling asleep. However, the bedroom sliding door was completely inoperable, which was a major disappointment and eliminated one of the key reasons I chose this property. Additionally, the sliding door in the living room, which offered access to the beach view, had no lock, raising concerns about security and making it feel unsafe to leave it open or step out.The condo itself shows signs of age and is in desperate need of updates. The overall condition feels dated, and maintenance seems to have been overlooked. The worst part was the bed—it was like sleeping on the side of a hill. The mattress was uncomfortable, uneven, and clearly past its prime, making for restless nights.While the beachfront location is undeniably beautiful, the property’s issues significantly detracted from the experience. For the price, I expected better upkeep and basic functionality. I hope the owners invest in some much-needed repairs, particularly fixing the bedroom door, securing the living room door, and replacing the mattress. Won’t be back

Very outdated appliances with rust all over the fridge and paint chipping on all of the kitchen cabinets. Very noticeable strong mildew/mold smell throughout the condo that never went away. Carpet should really be changed to laminate flooring being a beach condo. Couch and pillows had stains covering them to the point we didn’t even feel comfortable sitting on them. The building itself is also extremely outdated and falling apart. Pool appears very old and not well maintained. Key card had stopped working by 7am the morning of checkout even though checkout wasn’t until 10. And our neighbors beach items were stollen from a locked area designated for beach items under the parking deck. Master bedroom glass door leading to our balcony was also nailed shut so you couldn’t use it. Only positive was the nice balcony view and comfortable bed. Will not return to this properly.

Spring Break Stay

Easily accessible and close to the Hangout. Beautiful little spot on the beach. Will definitely be back to this condo when I’m in the area again.

Perfect condo

We have stayed in several different condos over the years we have been going to Gulf Shores. This is definitely the best so far. Clean and comfortable furniture and beds. Large balcony. Loved it.

902 Crystal Shores

Overall the condo was great, ample things in the kitchen and plenty of towels. Great location and the views from the balcony are incredible and very relaxing. My only complaint was the sofa was pretty worn out not very comfortable to sit on but we were on the balcony most of the time weather was great.

It was an ok place to stay. It really needs an update. It was fairly clean. Plenty of places to eat in the area. Pool and hot tub are small and in need of repair. Overall it was an ok place to stay

Beach getaway

This condo was in a great. Beautiful beach right outside the sliding doors. The amenities at the condo were great. Enjoyed the fitness room, hot tub and pool even though the temps were not as warm as we would have liked. Kitchen was stocked with all the supplies needed. Great location!

Nice get away

We found the property to be quite nice and aside from a few small items had no problems whatsoever. Those minor problems were a squeaky ceiling fan in the master bedroom, a missing knob on the dryer and a quirky TV the first night. None a reason to complain about the stay, but item the property owner needs to be aware of.

Winter Getaway

Relaxing and beautiful views. Got to see many dolphins swimming in front of the condo. Had fun walking along the shoreline looking for seashells. Looking forward to returning next year.

Crystal shores

It was nice. Would stay again. Had trouble with the code to get in the condo. The manager said she had trouble with it also and she finally called to have someone to check it out . We were locked out for forty five minutes. It was very windy n cold. Also needed extra covers and there was none in the condo.

Excellent location and views

We would stay here again. My only complaint is there was lots of dirt on top of the fridge, carpets has a lot of stains and under the bar was a lot of cobwebs. No fault of the owners but it could have been cleaned better :)

We ❤️ Crystal Shores!!

Great location! Wonderful amenities! Clean & comfortable! Furnished kitchen & washers/dryers. Good family atmosphere. Easily accessible management with any issues. Some assigned parking spots, but we didn’t have that this year. (Not sure why each condo doesn’t have assigned ones, but parking usually isn’t an issue.). We are repeat visitors now and will continue to be!!

Mini vacation must

This was a great condo to rent. The other guests were really nice and the customer service was excellent when we had trouble with the door, which was operator error and no fault of vacasa's. The place was amazing with a wonderful view. With walmart and dollar general up the road, we had everything we needed for an enjoyable time. We hope to come back very soon!

Get Away Vacation

We stayed at this property for the first time. Securing the rental and the check-in/check-out process was very good. The condo was clean and comfortable. Being right on the beach was fantastic. The location was great for restaurants, groceries, and shopping. On-site personnel were very friendly and helpful. We will go back to Crystal Shores.

Just what we needed

We were very satisfied with our stay here. The internet was strong. All the appliances worked. The balcony was roomy enough for my husband to sun in the lounge chair while I used the table and chairs to prep meals. The only thing I would suggest is to bring warm jammies or a throw blanket, as the blankets on the beds are very thin. We did not have anyone using the sofa bed, but if there were, there not any extra blankets. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub, work out room, and I especially enjoyed the sauna. Thank you!

Ok stay

Arrived and the code that was given wouldn’t work to get inside. Stayed on hold for 20 minutes to get a code. Got there and there was one trash bag to last us 5 days, no blankets on the beds just sheets, and the second bathroom with the tub clogged while taking a shower. On our final morning house keeping showed up 2 hours early banging on our door to get inside when we didn’t have to check out till 10am.
