Awesome spot!

Very nice house with a lot of room and located very close to the beach. Highly recommend for any Fort Morgan beach goer’s. We loved this spot!

Awesome Rental!

Perfect location for our spring break trip. House was clean and had everything needed for our weeks vacation. Short walk to the beach was pleasant. Neighborhood was quiet and quaint.

Great house, neighborhood and location

Great neighborhood. Clean and well kept. Short walk to the beach. My boys brought their bikes and enjoyed riding them to the beach. House is newly remodeled and has everything you’ll need. On quieter Ft Morgan side, but with restaurants close by and easy drive to orange beach/gulf shores. Beach at Morgantown is great and dog friendly!

Disconnected

The house and neighborhood were lovely but the internet had a lot to be desired. Service was terrible and with no cell phone service we were truely disconnected from the outside world. I would recommend only staying here if you want to be off he grid. Unfortunately with small kids and a demand for Netflix, the property wasn't great for us.

Vacation cut short

We were unable to travel because of a wither storm. We were also unable to move our dates to an adjacent weekend. We lost our investment in the property, however we were refunded some of the fees. Im sure it would have been a lot of fun.

A lovely place to stay

My husband, two other couples and my brother stayed at Sweet Home Alabama for 4 nights and it was great! The layout of the house was perfect and it was a quick walk from both the beach and the pool. Furniture was great, the couch inside was very comfortable. Plenty of stuff in the kitchen to cook and eat off of, but bring sharp knives if you plan to fool with large cuts of meat.

Amazing

Amazing location, clean interior. fully stocked kitchen, furniture was adequate. quiet, secluded area which is exactly what we wanted. 3 minute walk to the beach. cant say enough good things about this property. Will stay here again without a doubt.

Great location, disappointing attention to detail...broken porch furniture after being reported broken a month ago...some dirty pans...older vet simple bedding Loved location an the development...like I said could be a really nice place

Great location

This house is in a quiet neighborhood 20 min west of the main road that takes you into Gulf Shores. There is a great restaurant and market less than a mile away, so there is never any real need to go ”in to town.” We had a problem with the wifi when we arrived and management was very responsive and had it quickly sorted out. That is not always the case with these rentals, so I really appreciated that. The only drawback is that the furniture is run down. Stains on the couch, one of the ottomans on the screened-in porch is missing a leg, that sort of thing. It would also have been nice to have a decent broom or vacuum to help with the sand accumulation. There is a broom but, like the furniture, has seen better days. Our overall experience was great though, and I would stay here again.

Didn’t want to leave

We had a great experience at Sweet Home Alabama on Ft. Morgan beach. We had never rented a house before, so we were glad it all went smoothly. There were 2 families, 7 people. Plenty of space and everyone had their own bed. Location was nice, on a cul-de-sac, very short walk to the pool and beach. I was impressed how clean the home was, except the couch had a couple stains. Loved the balconies and the ‘homey-ness’of it in general. The ocean ‘view’ is about a square inch, but it didn’t really matter to us. Dishes, pans, and even a crockpot made it simple to cook meals. One thing I would suggest is a pantry cupboard instead of the shelves full of decor in the kitchen. Our kids loved it and all want to come back. The beach was lovely and we liked the location away from busier Gulf Shores. There isn’t much out that way, so make sure to get supplies at Walmart beforehand. Thank you for a great week!

A great place to getaway

This is our first time staying in Morgantown. The area was very ice and private. Ice cream truck comes around bout 4:00 every afternoon. We loved the two pools and tennis court. ( The codes are wrong on the rental sheet provided).The beach has two access points that are convenient to get to. One has a place for parking. The decks are a great bonus especially the screened in lower deck on back. Spent alot of time rocking. Plenty of parking for our 3 cars. Things I would recommend to owner is that every room needs a TV and a better selection of cable programming. No ESPN at all is bad for us who enjoy catching up on sports. While we didnt sit and watch TV all week at night and during those afternoon storms it would have been nice. Plumbing needs a little attention as the master shower sprays water on wall. It's just the little things that could make this rental a homerun. This has nothing to do with rental but there isn't alot of places to eat unless you drive back into gulf shores. Overall our family would recommend this rental and would love to visit Morgantown again next year.

A decent place to stay which is just fine with me.

Sugar ants in the kitchen and maybe a roach or two. Needs a through floor cleaning. Housekeeping is slipping. Mattress in every room is lacking. Overall is a great place for the money. The Location is great. I thought TVs were in all bedrooms but only in master and living area. Downstairs bedroom is the only bedroom with bunk beds which is odd to me. Overall it's worth the price and absolutely would stay again.
