This condo was perfect for myself, my wife, and our two kids. The condo is smaller but well-appointed. The location can't be beat! It has a gulf front view and is close to the pool, beach access, and on-site restaurant! Having everyone we need on-site, including a coffee shop, was so nice and relaxing! We would definitely stay here again!

The only thing good about this place was the view! Walked in the door and it smelled of mold. Come to find mold in the bathroom and around the air vents in the bathroom and bedroom. Had to clean the house to be comfortable. Refer did not cool properly. Furniture was absolutely horrible, old! Matress covers were dirty with what looked like blood. Dishes were dirty and had to he washed before you could cook or eat. Silverware tray was filthy. Only good was the view!

Nice little quiet place with a nice view from the balcony. It is a little bit of a hike to the beach, mabe 100 t0 150 yards but its well worth the hike. Would recommend a wagon for your chairs and beach stuff. The beach is perfect and not extremely crowded.

Not so great experience this trip.

The sleeper sofa needs replaced. My 90 lb 17 year old daughter couldn’t sleep on it without the springs poking, the support bar poking and the end of the mattress falling in. The bunk beds sounded like the top bunk was going to fall. The garbage disposal & dishwasher weren’t working. The listing said quiet time is after 10pm. Which made it very frustrating that one night they started power washing Sassy Bass vents at 12:24am. They didn’t stop for 2 hours and it was extremely loud on the metal. The walls are paper thin. On our last night we had one neighbor couple drunk and arguing about cheating. Then at midnight the neighbor above us was screaming at his wife for hours and slamming things around. Their daughter was crying. The things that are cleaning issues are: The chair had a blood stain on the arm. There was black mold all along the top of the shower and I’m extremely allergic to mold and ended up sick. There is no ventilation in the bathroom. The light in the hallway by the bunks is burnt out. There is little lighting in the bedroom & no windows visible. No light in the closet. The vacuum was clogged and full when we arrived and wouldn’t work. I requested a broom & dustpan. I was refunded 74 for cleaning issues. I wouldn’t stay here again and this is my third trip to The Plantation but this one ruined it for me. We had too many things go wrong that made it less than relaxing. The reviews on VRBO are mostly selected by VACASA not VRBO.

The location and view were great! However, the condo had a mildew smell. The towels were poor quality and left fuzz all over you. There was mildew/mold in the shower.

Absolutely the best!

We could not have asked for a better stay! The unit was very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the view was fantastic. Looking forward to coming back again some day! The only thing I might suggest would be a little broom to sweep.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Being so close to the beach was a plus to this condo for sure.

We enjiyed our time there, next time we want to stay longer to really enjoy the beach more. It rained most of the first day. We chose to enjoy the beach and the pool instead of venturing out. We thought the food was great from Kiva Grill and the bar tender/waitress was very kind. Sassy Bass was ok for us but not worth the price. Kat was super nice and funny at check in.

Amazing views

We had a great time staying here with the amazing views! The condo was very clean and everything was as it was described. It’s in a good location with a short walk to the beach.

Great Oceanfront property!

The condo has a great ocean front view! The property is a little away from the main gulf shores area, about a 15 minute drive, but it is a very scenic route. The condo was very clean upon arrival and check in went very smooth. The bed and the rest of the furniture were comfortable. All of the outside pools were a little too cold to use but we used the indoor pools multiple times and they were very nice!

Great view, property as expected, but the door/code problem needs to be addressed and solved

We love Fort Morgan and have stayed at GSP many times. Never have we had such a difficult check-in. First a 10 digit code that did not work. A call to "Vacasa service" was not understandable, even with a video. Finally, a call to a local Vacasa location which sent out a lovely person who knew all about the quirks of that door. The code was WRONG and did not work. Later, in our visit, a repair person came, and he said the same. Please take care of this! We waited, tired and hungry for one and half hours to check in. So frustrating and continued throughout the stay.

Cockroaches ruined the otherwise great experience

This place was great initially. A bit small for an extended stay or if you have multiple suitcases but worked for our family. The kids loved the bunks and the view was incredible. We could see dolphins playing in the water from the balcony. It was such easy access to the beach too which was great. Then, night 2 we came home to 3 huge cockroaches crawling around. We were no longer comfortable in the home. We were thankfully already scheduled to leave the next morning. We woke up early to pack up and leave, and there was a 4th giant cockroach that morning. I hope that issue gets resolved because otherwise this was a beautiful place.
