Located directly on the white sands of Gulf Shores, this Gulf-front condo in The Lighthouse Resort will give you a beach vacation you'll be thinking about for years to come. Bring your breakfast out to the private balcony each morning, grab a swimsuit from the in-home washer/dryer, and spend your days swimming in the resort's outdoor and indoor pools, relaxing in the hot tubs or sauna, working out in the gym, or simply lounging on 635 feet of private beach.

The Lighthouse Resort is located right on the sand near the heart of Gulf Shores, just over half a mile east of Highway 59. Within walking distance are Sea-N-Suds, The Hangout Gulf Shores, and a variety of other shops, restaurants, and nightlife hot spots. Take a morning stroll or cast your fishing line in Gulf State Park half a mile east, or head just up Highway 59 to Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf. The Craft Farms Golf Club is five miles north, the Gulf Shores Sports Complex is one mile beyond, and Big Wave Dave's, The Flying Harpoon 2, and The Flora-Bama are all within a quick drive.

Condo was clean and perfect for our short trip. Very family friendly. The beach front was a bit of a cluster though with all of the rental chairs and umbrellas that took up most of the beach front. Does not leave enough room for guests to set up personal chairs for access to a comfortable day without everyone being on top of each other.

Amazing stay

This space was so big and there was more than enough room for 5 adults with a full stocked kitchen (plates cups appliances knives pans everything). The rooms was extremely clean and very comfortable. The view was absolutely stunning and we loved sitting on the patio chatting. The pool and private beach with chairs / umbrellas were incredible as well. I was pleasantly surprised by everything about this condo. I honestly can’t believe this places isn’t booked years in advance it was great

Amazing view, great location

The location of the condo was perfect, elevators worked well and we didn’t have to wait long for them. I was a little concerned being on the 17th floor, but it was never an issue. Security monitors and ensures safety. Condo was just as we expected. Would come back.

17th floor was a great view of the beautiful beach!

The view was fantastic! It’s very close to restaurants and shops. It had everything we needed to cook. The elevator was fast, and there were several carts handy for getting your things from the car to the room. The rooms were spacious! The furniture is old, sheets & linens were very worn, and the mattress was just ok. Towels/wash cloths were not great at all. I would probably stay in the Lighthouse again, but I would stay in a different condo.

Beautiful and family friendly

Upon arrival room was clean and nicely furnished. The living room sliding balcony door was broken and did not lock, having two small children I was worried about their safety. We called customer service and they told us they could have someone there the next day to fix it and had the office staff bring us a wood piece that would prevent the little ones from opening the door until it was fixed. The next day a very nice man came and fixed the lock. We were very happy with our stay and the urgency of them fixing this issue for us. The view was beautiful and we loved all the pools! The only thing I wish it had was smart TVs or a roku to be able to login to our streaming services, I missed watching the office at bedtime lol. Overall we had a very nice stay! Thanks again!

The good - great building/pools/beach and elevators are not crazy busy. We could always catch an elevator right away. Bad- upon arrival our unit was not clean. There was sand in all the beds as well as someone’s dirty socks. The master bed has a giant diaper cover on it that crunches when you sit on it. After seeing the pee stained mattresses, we assumed this is why it’s in there. When I pulled out an extra blanket from the closet, it was also filthy with spills all over it. The furniture is so uncomfortable and old, with stains all over it. There’s black mold coming out of all of the vents in the unit. If anyone is planning on sleeping on the pullout couch, be prepared to wake up when the sun comes up because there’s no curtains in the room to block any light. Overall would not recommend this unit. Try another one in the building.

Dated with some issues

Condo had dated furniture making it uncomfortable to sleep/relax in. The deck was nice and furniture was fine there but we noticed there were roaches crawling all over the building/balconies on the outside never saw any inside and hopefully they were not!! Dated appliances that don’t work. First day I was going to load the dishwasher and noticed standing water in the bottom that was disgusting I tired to get it to drain and it never did so I reported it but no one ever came. Last day sink clogged and I could not get it unclogged although we did not put anything down the sink. I come down to the area at least twice a year and pay major bucks for a nice place but I was disappointed this time.

Relaxing in the sun

Clean condo, good location , great amenities . Only problem was dishwasher didn’t work.. the dish water hands was balanced out by the sun on my face and sand between my toes . Great vacation
