Located on the 8th floor of the Island Winds West, this condo has everything you need for a fun and relaxing vacation. Enjoy your morning coffee from your balcony while taking in the glistening waters of the Gulf below.



FEATURES:

This 2 bedroom/ 2 bath unit at the Island Winds West is on the 8th floor. Enjoy the magnificent views from your private balcony. Located directly on the beach with direct beach access from the condo, you will be able to enjoy the amazing beaches this area is famous for. Located right by The Hangout, this condo has you located right in the center of Gulf Shores and huge events like music festivals, the NCAA Women’s Sand Volleyball tournament, and so much more! Our condo features free Wi-Fi, free cable TV, a fully stocked kitchen, and a full-size washer and dryer - free for you to use during your stay. A laundry packet is provided to do a load of laundry while you`re here. Free private Wi-Fi ensures you have a great connection during your stay.



MASTER BEDROOM:

The master bedroom offers a King-sized bed and its own private ensuite bathroom. A TV with free cable provides comfortable viewing entertainment while you drift off to sleep. A private window lets you look out at the ocean while you relax and sleep in the bed. Bedside lamps provide reading light for late night readers. A closet and dressers provide plenty of storage place for your clothes and luggage. The private bathroom features a shower/tub combo and an electrical outlet by the vanity for your electric devices.



GUEST BEDROOM:

The Guest Bedroom includes a Queen-sized bed with a TV with cable, perfect for late night shows. A dresser offers storage for clothing. A bedside lamp offers reading light if you prefer a good read before going to bed. A private ensuite bathroom provides guests their own bathroom space featuring a shower/tub combo and vanity space.



LIVING AREA:

There is a Full-sized sleeper sofa in the living room for additional sleeping accommodations. A recliner sits next to the couch. Both are in great view of either the TV or the beautiful ocean. The dining table comfortably sits 2 people while a couple of additional people can dine at the bar top counter.



KITCHEN:

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything to satisfy your cooking needs. Plenty of pots and pans, baking sheets, appliances, dishes, cups, and utensils. The double sink allows easy dish washing while you`re looking at a great view of the city. A standard drip coffee machine and a Keurig are in the unit. You will have to bring your own coffee.



SURROUNDING AREA:

Located in the heart of Gulf Shores, you`re within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. The very popular Hangout is located just down the beach making it an easy walk to get dinner and some live music. You`re located right on the beach, so it`s just a short trip to get yourself soaking in the sun. It`s also right where the Gulf Shores Public Beach is located that offers additional beach space if the one by the condo is too crowded as well as some nice grassy areas to relax and have a picnic. There are lots of volleyball nets and a great walking path along the beach if you just want a nice walk. There are other good restaurants that are within walking distance of the condo.

Very nice place to stay. Good location, nice view of the gulf. Would be even better though, with new shower fixtures, and the small commodes upgraded to today’s standard size.

Comfortable and attractive.

The condo has a great view. Parking was always available when we were there. Nice kitchen that had everything we needed. Location was near everything we wanted to see. I highly recommend staying here.

Perfect location

This condo is in a perfect location for easily accessing restaurants and shops. The easy access to the beach was also incredible. We love watching the dolphins every morning and every evening. Both beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, the living room furniture was very comfortable and the balcony view was exceptional.

We had the best time at this condo! It was absolutely perfect! We took our 3 month old and it was so easy getting in and out of the condo even with her! The place is so cute and made us feel like we were right at home! Definitely will book again.

Perfect Location

We have stayed at Island Winds West many times, but this was our first stay at this particular condo. The communication from management was excellent. We received everything we needed prior to our stay. The condo location is very convenient and close walking distance to many restaurants. The ocean view was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

Summer Trip

The location of our stay was excellent. Islands West was a nice older building. Friendly atmosphere and easy check in. In need of some mild maintenance. Pool tiles falling off and in need of some paint. Our unit could stand a few bathroom updates otherwise clean and enjoyable.

Nice condo with great view, comfortable beds, bathrooms a bit dated and need some attention. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Parking pass is now $45 (not $25)

Beautiful Condo

We were so happy with this unit. It was so clean and the view from the balcony was awesome. We purchased the rental chairs that they offer on the beach that are right in front of the condo. We would highly recommend this beautiful unit to anyone who is coming down to Gulf Shores. 5 Stars!!!

Great condo!

The condo was so cute, clean and comfortable. I couldn't figure out how to make the TV in the guest room work, couldn't get the satellite box to turn on, but I wasn't there to watch TV! The guest tub and sink were slow to drain, but other than that the unit is PERFECT. View was incredible. Location was fantastic. Manager was so helpful and the people working around the unit were so nice.

Great spot for spring breaking families

Condo with fantastic location. Right on the beach, close to dining and shops. This area of the beach wasn't congested or noisy. Super close to The Hangout, Lulu's and Tacky Jacks. Short drive to Ruby Slipper and the Flora-Bama. This condo was fully equipped with everything but clothes and food! Super cute decor and all of the comforts of home. The only things that would have made this better would have been hotter water and a bed that didn't squeak when you roll over. We would recommend this condo and will be returning ourselves!

when we first arrived the tv in the living didn't work. it had to be repaired. also there were gnats everywhere. the bathtub in guest bedroom tub would not drain and didn't know how to turn on shower. management came and left instructions for shower but did nothing about tub drain, Had to stand in dirty water while showering. The condo was nice though.

It was a great area to stay. Unit could use some maintenance. Staying for a month it needed some new pans and skillet for cooking. The living room chair looks good but felt like I was sitting on ground, hard to get up and down for a 70 year old with bad knees.

Uncomfortable seating in the living room / bed noise

The accommodations were very nice and enjoyable for 2 adults. My issue or warning is the couch and chair are very hard to get out of. We are older and the low profile makes your exit up and out of them challenging.We had issues getting the local TV stations as well. It was a challenge to figure out which of the 3 remotes to operate for the free service in the room.The master bedroom king bed makes allot of noise when you get out of the bed on the edges. The side support seems to be worn out on the bed. I had to fix the leaky toilet in the master bath to stop the constant water fill. Those are the issues we had to deal with upon our arrival.The actual rooms and stay went well and very much enjoyed the view and sounds of the surf. If the living room issues were corrected, I would consider returning next year.We really liked the close location to Hwy 59 and the surrounding accommodations for shopping and food.I would recommend this area for those seeking a very nice beach and easy location with less traffic.
