Girl friends week at MSQC
Great place to meet up for a girlfriend week at MSQC. Friends from coast to Rocky Mountains meet to visit Hamilton MO. Hamilton quilt museum was great, worth the time seeing the history. Fun time shopping. The Gingerbread house was perfect for friends to hang out and catch up on old time and tell stories.

We came to Hamilton to visit Missouri Star Quilt Company. We found a quaint town and beautiful countryside. We loved being able to come back to the little house. It was safe and secure. We fixed meals, played games and watched movies. It was a great place to start and end each day.

The house was very clean and a good location. The stairs to the second floor were very steep we did not feel comfortable using them. The neighborhood was quiet. They had a large table in the dinning room and we hosted friends who were at another smaller VRBO for a couple nights of games and snacks. The property manager was very responsive from the first moment I made the reservation many months ago. She was very helpful.

The gingerbread house was a good place for us. We were able to all stay together and play games together, have our own rooms, a nice kitchen and places to visit or have some alone time. Close to all the shops in Hamilton and the Amish town of Jonesport. It was clean and secure.

An Adorable Place for a Quilt Town USA Stay
this lovely home was the perfect place to have a 60th party for my Sister-in-law, and to have family and 2 friends enjoy shopping in Quilt Town USA. The host answered my questions so quickly, and was so friendly. I had asked if there was a grill at the house, she was so accommodating, and had one on site when we arrived in the winter. *we bbq in the winter* This is an adorable home. Comfy, Warm, and Welcoming. We had 6 people and we were very comfortable. It's so close to Shopping. There's a great microbrewery in town. Over all Hamilton is ADORABLE! This home is cozy and you can't go wrong with this home.

Great House!
Very clean house with easy access to the quilt shops. The local folks are just amazing, super friendly people. Ate breakfast at Kathy’s both mornings there and highly recommend her small diner. You can’t go wrong with this house.

Visit to Missouri Star
4 quilters and 2 non quilters visit to Missouri Star Quilt Company for a friends birthday. Plenty of room in this cute old house. Large dining table for meals and games and lots of laughs! Modern kitchen. Comfy living room. Short drive to quilt shops. Would stay here again. Side streets in small town could use resurfacing is the reason for the 4 star about neighborhood. Safe and quiet.

Convenient access to Missouri Star Quilt stores. It was a good setup in the dining room for our sewing machines, and Heather responds to messages almost immediately. There was just two of us and we both had some private space with the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable! We plan on staying again. 🙂

Quilting Friends Trip
Five of us travelled to Hamilton to go to Missouri Star. The home was cute, quiet and very clean. We each had our own bed and we were able to make a few meals there to eat together. Host was very accomodating and even made sure to have sewing machines and other quilting supplies available for us to use during our stay. We loved that we did not have to strip the beds, etc before check out.

The Gingerbread House 2023
We stayed at the Gingerbread House about a year ago and loved it so we were excited about staying there again. However, I dropped something on the floor in the bedroom. When I looked under the bed and dresser there was quite a bit of dust etc under the bed. The front walk was a bit hard to navigate and stair railing had quite a bit of chipped paint on it. We still loved staying there. ❤️

We loved the property. It was so cute and was clean and comfortable. The upstairs bedroom was difficult for most of our party to access because of the layout of the stairs. It was nicely done upstairs but only one person was able to manage the stairs.

Very, very nice house
The house was very comfortable for our stay! Located in close proximity to all Missouri Star quilt shops, as a quilter, you'll be in heaven! As one enters there is the living room with a bedroom to the right with a trundle bed. This room has an entrance to the downstairs bathroom with another entrance from the dining room. There are two additional bedrooms downstairs. The bedroom upstairs was nice with its own bathroom. It is a relatively new addition. We stayed when the temperature was 98° and the upstairs was quite comfortable for sleeping. Note that the steps leading to the upstairs bedroom are a little steep. The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig coffee maker and there are some k-cups available along with a small amount of sugar. The keurig will also brew a full pot ofcoffee, if desired. There is a grocery store in town for additional supplies. We did not eat in but there were cookware and place settings available. The availability of a washer and dryer was great! The town of Hamilton is small, the largest in the county, with a population about 1,800. The current mayor lives across the street. :) There are not a lot of dinner options in Hamilton and even fewer on Sunday. The Tap Room (Levi Garrison) has the menu for the bowling alley which delivers. We didn’t need to contact the property owner for anything, but I'm confident if we needed anything she would have been very responsive. We had everything we needed here and would definitely stay again, if available.

Road trip to Kansas City for a Gardeners Conference and stopped in to Hamilton for two nights to shop at MSQC. Great House to stay in. Very nice and well stocked / maintained.

Girls shopping trip!
A group if 6 friends rented this for our visit to Missouri Star. The location was perfect within walking distance to the shops (although you might need your car to get all your treasures home 😄). The home was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. We had a wonderful stay, thank you. We would definitely rent again.
