"We loved our view of the harbor from our room. It was interesting to watch the boats come and go. We were entertained and amused to watch the deck hands fillet fish efficiently and effortlessly at the end of each fishing day. "

"Great place to stay. Roomy and clean. If you are bothered by dog noise such as running back and forth on the floor above and barking this may not be ideal. If that doesn’t bother you then you will love staying here. We had a rental car so getting in to town was a breeze. It’s a fair walk into town but doable. The car was great for getting to some of the more remote areas of Sitka for hiking and nature. "
Convenient and bright Cross Trail Vacation Getaway!
10/10 Excellent
"Great property completely equipped with everything you need, located minutes from the square for local art / shopping, walking distance to Totem Pole park/ trail and excellent/ responsive hosts just to name a few! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return to Sitka soon! "
"Location was good. Neighborhood nice and quite. I added felt tabs to the bottom of the dining chairs -couldn't stand the sound! Queen bed upstairs is pretty soft - ready for a new mattress. The front exterior entrance needs to be washed down. All in all, the interior was clean and I would recommend this property. "
"This little house had a bunch of pluses—very clean, new-looking and fully functional kitchen and cooking items, Laundry room, excellent location (across the street from the fishing boat we used), and easy walking distance to “downtown”. In addition, the owner was very responsive to the one question I had when we got there. Ideally, it would have two full bathrooms, but 1 1/2 ended up working fine for three of us."
