"Very helpful staff. Great help with attending autumn festival. Wonderful breakfast. Do book private onsen! Bit quirky as your outdoor shoes are taken away every single time! "

"Excellent convenient location immediately adjacent to the train and bus stations but not noisy. And walkable easily to the tourist area sites.
The facilities themselves are great, from the spacious rooms, onsens, provided kimono and sandals for the onsens and property, and the staff excellent. Also appreciated the afternoon welcome drink service.
Would highly recommend for a stay in Takayama. "

"Pros:
Close to the city center.
Many restaurants nearby.
Easy check-in and out.
Washer and dryer worked well.
Laundry soap was provided.
Great toilet and shower.
Large apartment.
Plates, forks, cups, dish soap, dish washing sponge were provided.
Cons:
When we arrived, we had to wipe down the table and floors to clean up oils and spots from the previous guests. When looking under the beds, it was apparent that the floor under the beds had not been cleaned in a long time, with dirt, dust, and...

"Staying temple was really unique experience. Renovation was done really nicely; traditional rooms were kept in good confition, and modern bathroom and laundry unit etc was installed. Very stykish yet blending well with original units. Quality of amenity was really nice too."

"We enjoyed a three night stay while touring the greater Gifu area.
The hotel is a bit older but is very well maintained. Everything is spotless, like most places in Japan. Comfortable room, including its size, bed/bedding.
Very good breakfast value. Most importantly a real automatic European coffee maker with a strong roasted bean. And it’s available for free all day. "

"One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. The staff is so nice and helpful and the rooms are great.
Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Takayama!"
"The hotel was perfectly fine in the heart of the historical district. Super friendly staff. Comfy futon beds. Free bar until 10.30. Great onsen. Busy serving your groups, a few scuffs and wear and tear. But for price point? Bang on the buck. "
"A very beautiful hotel, just a few minutes from the station. You can reserve the private onsen, which opens to the outside. Very relaxing. The only surprise was the mediocre wifi bandwidth (9 Mbs) even if you join their accor something-or-other. Highly recommended"
"We stayed here for one night, staff were very friendly and accommodating and facility was clean ,
They also help us arrange shipping when we forgot an item in the room ,
Would stay there again :) "
"clean room ...very well stocked hotel coffee an water always available ...easy parking... staff very helpful . this was one of 9 hotels we stayed in and was our favorite all around "
