I stayed at Unscripted Durham for one night while in town for the Chris Brown concert. Overall, it was a clean, comfortable and simple stay. The location is definitely a plus. It’s within walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops, which made it really convenient.
Parking is $25 per night, but you do get unlimited in-and-out access, so that was nice. The room itself was pretty basic but did exactly what it needed to do for a short stay. Nothing overly fancy, but comfortable and clean.
Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for a quick trip or concert weekend.

We stayed here for a conference, so all of our meals were covered offsite. The room was nice, but there was some damage to the shower itself.The staff was OK, but not necessarily very friendly. We tried to make them aware that the heat pump in our room had an issue and would never shut off even though the thermostat was calling it to shut down. This caused the room to either overheat or over cool they seemed in different about this situation. hopefully somebody will take a look at it before it’s mechanically damaged.

Great location, friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. We are frequent travelers and extremely picky. Of course valet was expensive but it is everywhere nowadays. I can definitely recommend this hotel.
